The Bullocks

June 1997

The Web Page Where Jesus Is Lord!

Hi! We're the Bullocks: Dan and Gaye and Anne and Allen. We created this page to give you a way to keep up with what's going on in our lives. We plan to update it, oh, maybe monthly, maybe quarterly, we'll see. We want to find a good balance between keeping it up to date while maintaining our own sanity.

We got a new computer, which explains why this page is here in the first place. It's an Apple Macintosh Performa 6360, and it came with enough software already on it to keep us baffled for years.

We live in beautiful Beavercreek, Ohio, a suburb of Dayton, the birthplace of flight.

Dan is a major in the Air Force, working as a staff officer in the Requirements Division of the newly created (April 97) Air Force Research Laboratory. He plays electric bass guitar. He got tendonitis recently from overuse of his computer mouse...that's one reason this page isn't very elegant. The other is that we wanted it to be browser-friendly, because we love you no matter which web browser you use!

Gaye is a full-time home executive. She plays hammered dulcimer and guitar. She's into interpersonal communications skills, and leads a Christian women's small group.

Together we use our musical gifts to lead praise and worship singing for the single adults group in our church, Fairhaven Christian and Missionary Alliance Church.

Anne is four now, and her favorite thing to do lately is have us tell her made-up stories using her stuffed animals as the characters. She'll say, "Daddy, can you make Puffalump talk?" She's rapidly teaching herself the computer, too. Gaye left her playing a kids' interactive CD game, and when she checked later, Anne had gotten out of the game and was drawing pictures using Dan's graphics application. (A testimony to the ease of using a Macintosh...)

Allen turns two at the end of June 97, and loves to explore and climb on everything. If we say "One," he says "Doo, three, GO!"

We have two cats, too--Chantilly and Lace--who are nicknamed the Thundering Herd. They just caught a mouse on June 5th; their first ever. Good kitties. We're proud parents!

We'll be upgrading this site eventually, with backgrounds and pictures and tables and favorite links and so on; please check back sometime!
