The Bullocks

August 1997

A Web Page Where Jesus Is Lord!

Hi! We're the Bullocks: Dan and Gaye and Anne and Allen. This is the first update to this page in two months, so thanks for your patience. Dan's working on a major upgrade, which will be a full-fledged web site, with multiple pages linked together, frames, photos, a collection of the best links, and the like. He thought it would be ready by now, but we have more important things to do with our time. Remember, it's more important to raise our family, get enough rest, and stay sane than to be on the cutting edge of cyberspace.

Hence, this interim update, with some of the same text as before...

We've been playing with digitizing photos. For an example, see our page of photos shot by Dan's friend Tom Shanahan and edited on our computer.

We finally got some rain in Beavercreek, Ohio, so now I need to cut the grass.

Dan is still a major in the Air Force, working as a staff officer in the Requirements Division of the newly created (April 97) Air Force Research Laboratory. He's looking for another job, though...we'll keep you posted.

Gaye is a full-time home executive. She plays hammered dulcimer and guitar. She's into interpersonal communications skills, and leads a Christian women's small group.

Together we use our musical gifts to lead praise and worship singing for the single adults group in our church, Fairhaven Christian and Missionary Alliance Church. We had a personal retreat together this month (without the kids) and spent a couple of hours just jamming on guitar, dulcimer, and bass!

Anne likes to play in our new sandbox that we created by emptying a small ornamental pond in our yard and filling it in with sand.

Allen is two now, gives lots of kisses, likes to climb trees, and likes broccoli. He imitates everything his older sister does, and if he doesn't know where she is, says "Anne, are you?"

We plan to incorporate a spot on our site for our two kitties, Chantilly and Lace, so they can tell you what they've been up to.

Please check back sometime! Upgrades in place perhaps by the end of August (but I'm not promising anything).
